I delight in a wide variety of subjects from the playful to the more serious and utilize many techniques to satisfy my thirst to explore. Being more in tune with an impressionistic approach than worrying over minute detail, I often find myself distilling the essential nature of the subject to a simpler arrangement of light, form and color. Sometimes there is a story to be told, whether in my composition or from the viewer imposing their own experiences....

Zan, today I am exploring your DWELLINGS COLLECTION! What a delightful chapel refuge you have showcased. This beauty is my treasure find today. A New England native, I embrace my Massachusetts heritage of spired churches and chapels that dot cities and especially countrysides from the humble to the unique. Visiting them was traditional especially during Lenten and Advent seasons. What a wonderful memory! And yes, the local humor was that there was one to be found behind most every tree :-)
