Sometimes it pays to just go with the flow!
A life philosophy that can be hard to attain, but a process in creation that offers a practice inherent in the method that I find quite appealing. To let the elements mingle as they may to form a pleasing abstract that changes as it dries is a lesson in acceptance that I also find valuable!
This is a piece that lends itself well to rotation until you find a view that pleases your senses...

Life is a Great Big Canvas, throw all the Paint you can on it! ~~Danny Kaye~~ Please come on in and share a slice of my life with me by enjoying a stroll through my work... I paint to further understand the wonders in the world around me and share what I discover with you and others. I delight in a wide variety of subjects from the playful to the more serious and utilize many techniques to satisfy my thirst to explore. Being more in tune with an impressionistic approach than worrying over minute detail, I often find myself distilling the essential nature of the subject to a simpler arrangement of light, form and color. Sometimes there is a story to be told, whether in my composition or from the viewer imposing their own experiences....

Laurel, again I am grateful for you and your lovely words of support. I have thoroughly enjoyed reflecting on the stimulating subjects you have put forth in the discussion pages in accompaniment to your wonderful WTB series of contests! Not only are the images submitted a joy to peruse but it is particularly fun for me to read and connect to those who have joined the discussion - it is a delight to find like souls in this life as an artist ;-)) I will continue to encourage others with that thirst to connect and examine their journey in the arts to check out your “WHAT’s the BUZzz (WTB) SERIES“ of contests and the behind the scenes discussions - thought provoking and worth the perusal! May they forever be accessible!

Zan, I love this ABSTRACTS COLLECTION painting which appears to combine experimentation with Acrylic pour along with minimal, albeit deliberate, palette knife slashings. Is this the artistic co-mingling of two loves...bold exploration and bold knifework?....whatever the response...BRAVA
