Description
What a remarkable celestial feature is the hazy mass we call the Milky Way. At once it is not only the name for the wondrous river of light we see on a dark star filled night away from city lights but the name given to the spiral galaxy that we are a part of! Given it's cosmic beauty it was impossible to resist painting my version from a fabulous photograph of Mammoth Lakes on Unsplash by Robson Hatsukami. Thank you Sir!
