Description
Feeling very grateful today. This version of Walk in the Rain sat in my "revisit until the mood strikes pile" until yesterday. I have quite a few pieces that were used for demonstration and never completed that reside there... Honestly, motivation has been difficult during these difficult times, but I finally got some of my precovid painting mojo back! Feels sooooo good - akin to a walk in the rain :-)

One of my favorites amongst many, Dear Zan! Gorgeous art, beautiful light and textures! Just LOVE this!

Thank you, Thank you!! A palette knife is an awesome tool to frature light and add testure ;-))
Only A Fine Day
I have been intrigued with the idea of women strolling in the rain since I was just a kid. This composition is fascinating for its solemn silhouette and high contrast spotlight, as well as the totally casual nonchalance attitude of the figure.
Zan Savage replied:
Love your thoughts on this many of which run parallel to mine in its creation ;-) Thank you Only A Fine Day (I wish I knew the anagram answer ;-))

Very well done. Love the colors and the texture, which I am big on! I'm a sucker for the lady in the rain painting, and you knocked this out of the park.
