Standing watch over the Gulf of Naples on the Island of Capri, the Punta Carena Lighthouse is still guiding freighters safely through the shipping lanes. Perched high above the waters on a sheer cliff face, it has been active since 1867 and until recently was one of the last remaining manned lighthouses in the world...
As with many of my paintings I have another almost identical canvas painted while demonstrating for my students in a classroom setting available for sale. This is one of those available and the one mentioned below for sale...
