Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

I have always thought our fine feathered friends look adorable all fluffed out gathering warmth in the snow so it was a delight to paint Cardinal in the Snow and doubly so for the symbolism they carry. It has been said that they are messengers - bringing comfort at the loss of a loved one or encouragement and hope to those in their presence. A charming thought that I am happy to indulge when one crosses my path!

I paint to further understand the wonders in the world around me and share what I discover with you and others. I delight in a wide variety of subjects from the playful to the more serious and utilize many techniques to satisfy my thirst to explore. Being more in tune with an impressionistic approach than worrying over minute detail, I often find myself distilling the essential nature of the subject to a simpler arrangement of light, form and color. Sometimes there is a story to be told, whether in my composition or from the viewer imposing their own experiences....
