Perhaps one should check with Rhymin' Simon "One man's ceiling is another man's floor" - Words to contemplate. Certainly this young lady is perched upon one or the other - yet just what she's pondering I'll leave to the observers both in and out of the painting - although the doves may offer a clue ;-)
Fun fact- This piece was inspired by a design project I did long ago at UT Austin whilst enrolled in the Fine Art program...
