I delight in a wide variety of subjects from the playful to the more serious and utilize many techniques to satisfy my thirst to explore. Being more in tune with an impressionistic approach than worrying over minute detail, I often find myself distilling the essential nature of the subject to a simpler arrangement of light, form and color. Sometimes there is a story to be told, whether in my composition or from the viewer imposing their own experiences....

Zan a very handsome boy this peacock is. What I love is the explosion of color and those perfect hues! He knows who he is and you have captured the movement of when the peacock opens his feathers with that fantastic yellow!! Great painting!!
